Sunday Sketches: A life of Toast & Jam

Toast and jam. The mister couldn't imagine a life without them! Actually, his preference recently has been toast and marmalade. In fact, he found a new marmalade at a local market that has won him over! As such, he made the perfect "model" for creating a recent custom order. The only thing I didn't include was the trail of crumbs down his sweater and on the sofa!

Nevertheless, I do hope the family receiving this illustration will be truly blessed by it and the child-like heart found within. Happy Sunday Sketches! I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone this weekend.

  2. Now that is a gorgeous tribute to toast and jam. Your sweet gentle little characters always bring a smile to my Sunday. I am struggling with an orange but have decided to move on and try something new. Perhaps I should turn that orange into marmalade LOL Have a lovely week.

  11. I can't say that I'm a fan of toast and marmalade, but I do like your lovely little bear! The theme reminds me a bit of Paddington Bear, who hides his marmalade sandwiches under his hat - do you know him? x

  12. Aww he's adorable and I agree with Mr Toast - toast and jam is amazing, as is marmalade. I am particularly fond of morello cherry - delicious. Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks. My mum has been taken ill and had to have an emergency operation, so life has taken a different turn of late, but I hope to be back next week. Happy SS x
