Paint Party Friday
I've spent the last two weeks now, recovering from a severe case of bronchitis as well as a torn muscle and dislocated ribs from the severe coughing spells. Ugh. Let me tell you just HOW miserable I've been. No school. No work. NO ART!! :(
Today is my first day up and about, just a little, trying to get some fresh air and doodle. Please enjoy the two sketches above. The first one is some doodles I did on a Starbucks napkin and the second, another sketch for my independent study at school.
I SO miss everyone out here in the bloggie world, along with just being creative and artsy!

Lovely! Take it easy and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd both sketches are delightful. I sure hope you are more yourself as each hour goes by.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're on the mend Alexandra, love your sketches today. The 2nd one's so comforting! And I thought the first one was a part of the napkin.
ReplyDeletePoor thing - Here's hoping you get well soon!
ReplyDeleteYour sketches are awesome. Nice job. Sorry about your current situation. dislocated rib from coughing. Ayeeee. Ouch, such pain. Hope you heal soon. Take care but keep up the great sketches.
ReplyDeleteSew glad you are feeling better! Love the cupcake sketch! I just visited one of my blogger friends--a school cook, and she had a picture of 300 cupcakes that she did for a school function! Must be cupcake day!
ReplyDeleteyes, I've spent the last 2 weeks coughing also. definitely not fun. glad you're on the mend...sweet sketches! hopefully you'll be painting again soon!
ReplyDeleteOh no! So sorry to hear that - and for a busy girl like yourself, it must be especially hard. I had it last week and didn't leave the house for 8 DAYS! Except for Starbucks which, naturally, doesn't count :)
ReplyDeleteLovely sketches, xoxo
So sorry you've been feeling so bad! I hope it's starting to get better. I had an awful cough in January that lasted a month. I hurt so bad from the coughing and it sounds like yours is even worse. I love the sketches. If I found a napkin like that at Starbucks, I'd take it home and consider it a little found treasure.
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed your sketches alexandra! So homey and really could feel your pain right now. I pray for your speedy recovery. Do rest a lot and drink more water. Thank you also for your kind comments. Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you feel better soon. Love these sketches, so awesome!
