Hello and WELCOME to another week of sketches, doodles and whatnots! I'm posting early this week as I'm sure many of us have holiday plans, and wanted everyone to feel like they could link in and return later. Mr. Linky is available and will remain open later than usual so everyone has a chance to participate this Easter weekend.
Above are two of the four in my Tree series that will be on display at my upcoming art show. I'm currently in the process of trimming, matting, framing, etc. Quite time consuming but am enjoying the process of watching my artwork come to life.
So, can you find the "signature/sign" in each painting above? This is something I plan to place within my completed paintings from now on. :)

wow - am looking & looking & not finding the signature. Great trees though! Surprisingly autumn-like --- congrats on the show and my condolences for having to mat/mount etc ;) hate doing that stuff personally....
ReplyDeleteI like the freedom with which you expressed the leaves without lots of detail; it really flows nicely with the lines of the tree trunks. I bet they look fabulous shown together!

ReplyDeleteHello Sophia, thanks for visiting over at dreamcolour, the piece I did was initially just a sketch on paper with pencil, then using picassa I did an inverted function making the background black and the lines white, was quite happy with the result, such fun!
