Friday, I posted the beginning stages of my purple cone-flowers. Here's the completed version. I'm heading out but will be sure to visit everyone when I return.

I really like the colour choice and the free and active linework in this. I also like the dots you've used to hint at lines and indicate the hairy stems. They add an energy to the composition.

ReplyDeleteHad a look yesterday.. we love cone flowers, their rainbow of colours a new one available every year, heads reaching for the sun.. their magical medicinal properties.. these turned out great!
