If you're not already a follower or participant of the Creative Tuesdays art co-op...you should be! Not just because I'm partial to my dear hubby, but because he's cheerful, witty and brings to the table the most incredibly fun themes for everyone to illustrate/paint. Uh-huh.
His recent theme for C.T. has had my mind bouncing around on creative clouds for a few days now. This afternoon, I put my brush and pen to paper, coming up with this illustration. It was a lot of fun and I'm quite pleased, if I say so myself! Some eggs were inspired by photos spotted on Pinterest, while others were from just playing around with ideas that actually quite surprised me when completing them.
If you were to paint an egg, what would you paint? Would also you be interested in a short video tutorial on how to paint watercolor eggs such as these?

I love your Easter Egg designs! I love Easter eggs and what they symbolized in the Christian world, so I've been designing one for each of my girls every year for about 20 years now. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteLove your Easter Eggs here Alexandra, such cute designs!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty eggs! I especially love the one with the moustache and the monocle. I love to color eggs with my girl. We've got markers containing food colors so we can paint directly onto the eggs before we eat them. I love to draw them faces or paint sunny spring scenes on them. As I always love video tutorials a one on painting watercolor eggs like yours would sure be welcome with me.
ReplyDeleteOh these are adorable and of course we'd all be interested in seeing how you created them ;)
