Sunday Sketches

Hello!  Hello!  Welcome to another week of Sunday Sketches!  A place where we love to create, whether through painting, drawing, mixed media, etc.  I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and I look forward to catching up with each of you!  :)

Above is a quick 10-minute painting and my own interpretation of one of Beatrix Potter's illustrations.  She definitely remains my top inspiration behind my own sketches.  She always finds a way to bring out the child-like heart within me.

Oh, and let's not forget to mention that I received a 96% on my Math exam this past Friday! Yeah! :)

    I have always seen Beatrix Potter in your work! Kindred spirits, no doubt. Congrats on the math exam. I have to admit hearing about your classes makes me want to return to school.
