Creative Tuesdays - NEWBORN

This is a very quick sketch I tossed together this afternoon at Starbucks, for Creative Tuesdays this week.  The current theme on the table is "newborn."  I do think it turned out quite whimsical and bright, I must say.  :)

I've been seriously buried in tests and homework lately as the Spring semester is wrapping up.  Thus, the lack of any major pieces of art.  Summer break will be here in a few weeks - and I'm quite excited!

    This is certainly bright and cheerful. I love the color scheme, and the bright red lady bug and baby bug....I'd say "Cute as a bug in a rug" HaHa.

    aawwwww, what cuteness & awesomeness! Love how you only have bright colours on the ladybugs drawing attention to them! I've started seeing them flying about already - it's that time of year (where do they all go in the Winter anyway?)

    It really is awesome, esp for a tossed together sketch. Now tell me, do you know if ladybirds have fewer spots the younger they are? That is wha tI think I read somewhere some place but who knows. This woudl be fun to see painted in too. thanks for finding the time to squeeze this in! :)
