Sunday Sketches

Good morning and welcome to another fantastic Sunday Sketches!  Woot!  =)

As you can see from above, I'm playing around with hippos and trying to come up with a design/style that I like.  I'm definitely loving this one and am looking forward to painting it this week.

    YAY HIPPOS! Every time I see a hippo I either think of the ballerina hippos in Fantasia or the game Hungry Hungry Hippos...lol! I have been playing around with new styles but by far I love this sketch of yours! Looking forward to the painted version.

    I missed this week - had sketches done but didn't have time to post or visit. Kept thinking I'd be able to sneak in a few minutes here and there but it never happened. Had a lovely 90th birthday party for my Dad!

    Love your little hippo! My *entry* is not a sketch anymore, it started out as a sketch of a bird and then I got carried away - deatils on my blog. But it was great fun, and even though it is not exactly a sketch anymore, I decided to enter it as this was the inspiration! Valerie
