More Inktober Illos

It's crazy how quickly this week has flown by. Tomorrow is Friday and I'm just now catching up with posting my day 3, 4, and 5 for Inktober. It's fun to see where each day takes me. Most of the time, I've no idea what I'm going to do for a particular day until after I've had my early morning walk, taking in the fresh Autumn air and playful little creatures along the way.

My goal in doing this is to (hopefully) grow in the area of detailing a bit better than what I currently do. When reflecting back on my work to just last year during this time, I can already see an incredible difference with my wok - style and painting. It excites me to think where I'll be when the end of October arrives.

I really hope to share my 2017 inktobers daily, as it seems utterly overwhelming to post multiple illustrations all at once. What do you think? :)

  1. can be over whelming to make the posts with the images, but not to see them all together. it all comes down to if you have the time to post them daily or not. I think as long as you post them, thats all that really matters, not when or how you post them.

I think you have grown as an artist, much more detail to your work then there was when I first found you online :)

  2. You are always growing and learning, just post whatever you can whenever. These are really nice, the first one gives me a chuckle for some reason.

  3. I remember the first illustrations I saw of yours, and loved them. But you have grown and matured and are masterful in your work. It's so unique to YOU. I've never seen anything quite like it, which makes YOU and YOUR work so special. Love and Hugs. I think I would like to adopt all your little critters...They are so lovable....

  4. Yep, just as I suspected, I am going to LOVE Inktober! These are all wonderful Alexandra. Love the portrait above which captures something of that "I'm not exactly thrilled having my picture taken" feel seen in so many actual family portraits! And love the two splashes of color on the cuties below! Looking forward to the next as well. . .
