Sunday Sketches

Hello and welcome to another week of Sunday Sketches.  Most of Saturday was spent working on the two holiday custom orders of gift tags and cards.  The photos above are a few sneak peaks at what I've been working on.

Thanksgiving was a bit difficult, forcing me to push through some feelings of anger and loss over my father.  It's not an easy time of year but doing my best to move forward and "celebrate", as I know he wouldn't want me not to.  So, the tree is up and the lights sparkling. Yeah!  :)

OK...off to visit everyone else.  Happy SS!

  21. Hey Sophia,
While I can't say I understand completely what you are going through (I can't, my dad is still here), I can relate to that "empty" feeling that comes this time of year when someone you hold dear is no longer with you. Blessings.

These gifts tags are so lovely. They are a gift of their own! And the card can be framed for year long cheer.

  26. Such sweet little gift tags! I've copped out this year and bought some. I couldn't help it they called to me! I'm making my own cards though so I'm not completely naughty. Your recipients will be very pleased with these! :o)

  27. Oh! I love the ol' timey feel to these..they just are fantastic! I am so delayed in visiting and I do hope you know that I have been sending my good thoughts as you moved through this holiday without your dear dad. Missing our loved ones at these times is so difficult and I've found peace through taking time to myself to reflect upon the gifts that they've given us. I am SO grateful for the memories and experiences I've shared with my mom and my other relatives I've lost. I hope you've found some comfort through friends and family too!! Hugs to you and my big thanks for your kind words about the book..you are awesome!
