Paint Party Friday

I'm not sure I'm pleased with the final results, but here's Ms. Lady and her friend.  It seems a bit busy at the bottom (no pun intended) after everything I've added.  Grr.

Anyway, it was fun putting an idea together.  If anything, it's more practice to improve my technique.  Happy Paint Party Friday! =)

And to combat the small lines, just use some dark outlines on the bottom of the leaves.
It will take the eye right up to the LadyBug and you should be happy!

  16. I like it a lot. Sometimes when you are disappointed in the way a piece turned out it helps to put it aside and let it rest for a bit. Come back to it later and you might have a whole different opinion.

  28. Oh, and see, I think this is one of my favorite pieces of yours. I love the colors and the contrasting weights of the lines, they really help the eye to move around the piece. Great work.
