The Life of Owls

Being creative on a regular basis is really helping me to cope with my father's recent diagnosis of cancer, let alone all of the other things that come along with it, such as endless paperwork and phone calls.

On top of that, I'm trying to recover from my own infection/cold brought on by the stress of everything. I'm starting to feel the affects of the antibiotics today and finally feeling some relief phyiscally. I will continue to use this time to rest as much as possible for my physical and mental well-being.

  9. Hi Sophia, I'm Loving your owls, soooo cute! I think being creative is really good for the soul and it certainly helps me through difficult times too.

I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you and your dad at this time. Towards the end of last year my step father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was such a shock and sent our family into turmoil. I love my step dad dearly and he is like a father to me. So it was an awful shock and very very scary. But I just wanted to let you know that 6 months later he's had his surgery and he's doing well. And cancer free. He's still dealing with a few health issues due to the surgery but I guess I just wanted to share my postive story with you :0). Hope you are feeling better too take care oxoxoxo
