New Year doodles

As you all know, I'm horribly sick and have been housebound all week on the sofa, discovering yesterday at a doctor's appointment, that I've bronchitis. Yuck! So, for now, please enjoy these few doodles and I hope to return in a few days to share some thoughts on my heart and mind about the coming new year. Love to you all and thank you so much for your ongoing love and support. I'm truly, truly grateful for each of you!

  2. So glad you went to the doctors when you did or you would be in hospital now apparently! Phew! Anyway, be that as it many, look at you here! Even sick you whipped out this FABULOUS pieces. I really love the very illustrative, sketchy style you are growing into. It's fresh and free. Keep it up. These piece are some of your best, imho...along with those Robins you did on IG recently.

  5. Great DODDLES! Loving the dog. Sorry you have been sick. Be careful with that, in my 30's (years ago..haha) I got that stuff and it went into bronchial asthma that I still have today. Take care and get well soon. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment.

  6. Oh Alexandra. . . I'm so sorry to hear about the bronchitis! Just keep to resting and relaxing and let yourself heal completely. These images are wonderful! The girl, to me, and yes this is influenced by knowing you are sick, looks like the "thought bubbles" of a little girl who IS sick and in bed, dreaming of all the things she can imagine that would make her feel better and like herself again.

And then I suppose the little dog is like her trusted companion who thinks "Hey, you know what would really make you feel better? Nooooo silly, not that icky medicine. . . playing with ME!"

Wishing you a swift recovery Alexandra!
