Wow, it's so wonderful to be back and a part of Scribble Picnic! This illustration came about while away in England. My niece had asked me if I would do a custom illustration for her, requesting it have books in it. I thought to myself, how fitting for the upcoming Scribble Picnic theme. What do you think? I love how it turned out and plan on offering it as a custom illustration. Meaning, for a small fee, I would change out the hair color, books and possibly the color of the chair.
The sun is out and the weather is gorgeous - hitting the mid 80's today! So, grab your favorite picnic blanket and join me on this hot, summer day....come see what everyone else is bringing to the picnic!
This is a wonderful book piece!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christine. :)
DeleteThis is so cute Alexandra. I love the BIG chair and the little girl. How sweet. You just have "whimsical" flowing through your veins. HaHa. Keep it flowing. We love you and your work.
ReplyDeleteAwww, hahaha Thank you, Wanda. :) x
Deletethat little readers is so adorable though I would have chosen a different book for her, it sort of don't match the cuteness of the overall piece. love her eyeglasses and little teacup there.
ReplyDeleteit's a good idea to use as a custom piece, I wouldn't mind ordering one.

Yeah, that book was specifically requested so did the best I could with it. :) I'll let you know when I set it up for a custom order. :)
