Scribble Picnic (Tree Haven)

Scribble Picnic...a little TREE haven for this sweet family of bunnies in the forest. It's a bit different for me this week but I must say I enjoyed not creating an illustration with great detail! Ha! Nevertheless, it was good practice once again on creating depth within my work.  If you'd like to see photos of my "work-in-progress", visit my Instagram account for a peek.

For more wonderful contributions make sure to grab your basket of goodies and head over to Michael's blog to visit with other fabulous artists across the world! Heck! Why not join us? :)

  3. That looks like a magical little glade for those bunnies to play in. You've really captured the depth of it and I love how you've illuminated the "play space".

  4. My comment of last night never made it when my computer froze!
I would love to walk in your gentle woodland, watch the rabbits hop by and then set up my picnic among the pretty ferns. I might decide to wander further into the darker reaches IF I had someone with me perhaps! I love this.

Happy weekend to you and Michael.

  5. I too sometimes like to create a piece without too many details, something that doesn't requires too much thinking

your bunnies seems to be enjoying the nice space, I think one of them is wearing a red bandana - so very cute

    have a lovely day.

  8. Alexandra,
I love their play space. They look happy and carefree - Protected from the hawks by all the towering branches that would be above.

  13. Well what I love is that is still invites us in to discover a story. Leaving a lot more to the viewer's imagination perhaps but the little grove is filled with magic and the rabbits are certainly full of life and mischievous play!
