A little Spring In Your Heart

I love Spring! Of course, come Autumn, I'll say the same thing. Ha! Yesterday, we hung a beautiful tree house and paper lanterns in the trees along the side of our cozy little bungalow. It's so magical and fills my heart with joy. Those are the things I look for every single day. Life is hard enough on its own so finding simple things, such as this, brings that boost of happiness to help guide us along.

How about you? What do you do to lighten the load of life's journey along the way? I'd love to know.

  2. Yes, I agree...I love the changes of the seasons, renewal, discovery! For me, one of the ways I lighten things up is go to my mountaintop, and to the island across the bay...(most recent post). Sometimes a city does it too. Again, thanks for stopping by my blog. I am now following yours...I think...

  4. Such a pleasant post and I love the paper lanterns!!! I also think that little bird house is so pretty!
When weather permits it, I love sitting with my hubby on one of our four bench swings and listen to the birds singing in the trees. It may sound corny but this is a part of who we are~

So nice to meet you 🐦

  6. Hey Alexandra, thank you for coming by my blog, because I didn't know where your blog has been? It hasn't been showing up on my blog wheel! I was wondering where you went too?? So, I unfollowed you and followed you again. I hope that fixes the problem! Beautiful photos! I was actually doing some Spring cleaning today, before the snow comes back tomorrow! LOL! The little things are so important! Big Hugs!

  7. Alexandra, thanks for leaving a comment on my 'about me' section on my blog 'living Life on Main Street'. Yep, I'm that old dude, just plugging along, keeping busy, enjoying life. I love your art. It inspires me to keep trying. Thank you for that. Looking forward to many days of our friendship.

  8. We've had some beautiful days recently, sun shining and soft air. Walking through my neighborhood and observing things on days like this is always joyful.

  9. Wondering if the recent "lantern scribble picnic" inspired you to buy the paper lanterns, or if you already had them! :-) . They and the birdhouse are so pretty.
