A wintry new year

Just a quick little morning doodle before diving back into work. With a pressing deadline, there's not much time to "play" at the moment. For now, enjoy this little girl, booing the snow that's on its way once again this afternoon. This past Sunday, we received about 11+ inches of snow with record temperatures, leaving things quite cold and icy. We've had quite the wintry new year already! Brrr!

More soon and I promise to catch up with my lovely Sunday Sketches peeps!

  5. Growing up there was NEVER enough snow. . . then one year we had 24 inches in two days. That was enough . . . even for a 12 year old! lol Though that was the only winter I was able to build an actual snow fort that really felt like a fort. :) And it stayed cold enough that it lasted for a week though the snow was soon too dry and terrible for snowballs so the fort was pretty useless by day two. lol

    1. hahaha Too funny. Gosh, I remember my 2 youngest brothers building a snow fort in our yard. In fact, I think the local newspaper agency took a photo of it! Fun, though! :)

  6. She perfectly captures that mood when the joy of a good snowfall turns into boredom and cabin fever!

    1. Thank you. Yes, it seems like a lot of areas are having really harsh winters this year. Stay safe and warm! :)
