As my Thursday slowly moves forward, I sit here in this giant brown comfy chair with a hot cuppa in hand, watching the sun gradually fade behind the grey clouds that are seizing the morning sky. It's a bit gloomy out but still cozy on this winter day.
I'm continuing on with my tea cup/mug illustrations and have included the second one above. If you'd like to see the original photo of this darling cup, you can find it on my
Facebook page. There's still much to do in the studio before the week ends, so I'm off to knock out a few more tasks on my list. This gal is actually using a planner this year! Hee
you sound to be in the perfect spot with cuppa to start the day,, very cosy!!

Awww...thanks SO much, Donna! Happy Thursday! xx
DeleteAlexandra, thanks for visiting my blog! I try always to visit my visitors so here I am. Your teacups are very lovely. However, I visited your book illustrations and am in awe of your incredible talent. I have zero children in my life at the moment but your illustrations would certainly draw me to those books if there were children (my granddaughter is age 27 and a confirmed bachelorette.)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Faye. And thank you for your lovely compliment of my books and illustrations. Happy Friday! :)

I love your teatime theme Alexandra. Your cups look beautiful done in your lovely illustration style. There is nothing like a nice hot cup of tea to sip while painting or writing - or reading - or anything really!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Wendy. Very much. And you're totally right...got my hot cuppa of Scottish Blend this morning. xx
DeleteBeautiful sketch, Alexandra! It's so nice to sit back and relax with a cuppa.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I only just noticed that you changed your link address to Sunday Sketches. Your badge on my site was coming up 'Page Not Found' but at least it took me to your main site so I was able to find it from there. :)
Happy Thursday/Friday to you! xx
Serena, it is so relaxing being able to just sit with a hot cuppa and relax. Thank you for popping in and so glad you found the Sunday Sketches page. I promise not to change it for a very long, long time. :D
