Sunday Sketches: Christmas in July...err, August?

Over the past few weeks, I've been mentioning the various children's book projects on my plate, including a super secret one. Well, I've been given the green light to start sharing about it and if you missed the initial announcement earlier this week, here it is again, along with some super cute sneak peeks of the process.

Introducing, "Mia's Magical Christmas Eve", which will be available in November. This is another fabulous collaboration with award-winning author, Karen J. Roberts. I'm looking forward to sharing more with you but until then, enjoy this tiny preview during this little....Christmas in July....err, August!

  2. I love, love, love what you have done!! I am a Christmas girl all the way and it is never too early to start anticipating the holidays where we can celebrate Christ`s birth!! This book is precious, and your beautiful illustrations have captured the meaning of the words .   4. This is so precious Alexandra. Your time as come....you are in the limelight of illustrators. I'm so thrilled for your career and most of all I'm thrilled for all the children that will be loving these books. My youngest grandson is two and he will have some your books...I will see to it.

    I'm looking forward to Fall and Christmas. Hugs and love forever.

  11. Oh sweetie I've been meaning to let you know. I haven't received the Peanut Butter book for review.
    Have you mailed it? I linked a little late today. I've love to be the first to review the new book!
    BTW I've started a new blog which is a secret till now. HeHe. It is all about Holidays! Hopefully I'll be revealing in the next week or two. The new book would be perfect for my Christmas posts!

  16. Sigh..... just beautiful!
    Just love the draped red ribbon with the snow layers entwining the tree... and the little adorable mice and birds... weeeeell all I can say is 'naaaaaaaaaaaaaw' Gorgeous, and congrats!!!! It'll be a winner!!
