WOYWW: An illustrated life...

It's been awhile since hopping on board Julia's WOYWW (What's On Your Work-desk Wednesday) and thought it fitting on this cloudy, rainy day to grab a perfect hot cuppa and join all of the other wonderful creative peeps out in bloggie-land.

Life has leveled out some. Although still quite busy, I feel there's more of a balance to my daily illustration/work schedule and for that, I'm pleased. Sometimes, situations and circumstances can throw things out of sync. Over the past several weeks, there was a struggle to find that and am excited to see things leveling out to as normal as life can be.

While sitting at a local coffee shop, sipping on my hot cuppa, this little guy came to life. He's the very first illustration for my illustrated biography that I'm working on and hope to publish early next year. At the moment, I'm wrapping up illustrations for two children's books, "No Matter How Small" and "The Adventures of Chopper & T", while working on a set of sketches for a brand new, TOP SECRET children's book, set to publish early Fall of this year.  With these projects, my own book and custom orders for other clients, my workload is pretty steady at the moment and I couldn't be any happier!

  6. Glad things are settling down for you now after a chaotic time ... life has the habit of doing that doesn't it? Just love your pussy cats ... am always so envious of anyone who can draw ... I can craft but I can't draw! Thanks for popping by my blog earlier and yeah, creating on the edge does kinda sum me up ... usually on the edge of throwing it in the bin! Happy WOYWW'ing and drawing more pussy cats! Love to you from Debbie xXx
