This round of Creative Tuesdays is focusing on the theme, aqua. To be honest, I wasn't planning on participating as absolutely nothing came to my mind. Nope. Nada. Zilch. Uh huh. Well, until around lunch time today and this crossed my mind and I was like - well, I'll let you imagine my excitement when realizing I'd get to join C.T.'s lovely, creative peeps after all! So, come with me as we sail across the waters of life, bringing hope to those around us. :)
Just darling.... Alexandra I saw this on facebook and was hoping you would enter it for CT. I'm so glad to be back. Your loose watercolors excite me.... I truly loved your hummingbird the other day. Just exquisite. This piece of work it so interesting because not only is it Aqua....it's so full of detail and texture and adventure. Let's sail away.....I'm ready.

So funky, I love the layers of line and texture.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Alexandra. I love how you have framed it with the oval rope and floating a message in a bottle on top is pure brilliance. So glad this little piece of inspiration came and you could share it with us.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you were able to create this masterpiece, Alexandra. I love the swirling aqua waters and that life is filled with "hope" even when we sail the highs and lows that life floats our way. Simply outstanding work!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and the rope around the piece just sets this off beautifully. Thanks for sharing. :-)
Super well-done.
ReplyDeleteOh Alexandra,
