There's been a whole lot of good things happening around here lately thus keeping us busy every single day! Besides the children's book projects currently on my desk, I have a brand new e-course, "Blog, Girl", launching in just about 6 weeks that will feature several surprise (and quite successful) bloggers, sharing their story and tips right along beside muwah! Uh huh. Along with these lovely events, I'll be having a "Peanut Butter & Pumpernickel" book reading/signing at Barnes & Noble the first weekend in June, followed by an Artist Reception for being their June Artist of the Month. Exciting!
With that said, my baby brother is starting his very own blog! It's exciting to see him slowly diving into the two things he really enjoys - music and photography. It's been wonderful hearing the various melodies from his guitar making their way up the stairs, gracing us in the evenings as we're cozied up on the sofa with a cup of tea in hand, chatting and what not. He's had some difficult emotional days but such an incredible trooper, getting up and pushing through each day.
In this world of ups and downs, it's not always easy to find the strength to rise above. Choosing to find one tiny thing to bring us hope now and/or in the future is the best thing anyone can do when trudging through life's challenges.
Sweet painting! Congrats on all your amazing accomplishments and good luck to your brother!
