Sunday Sketches

Hello and WELCOME to another wonderful, creative week of sketching, doodling and whatnot!  Uh huh.  As you can see above and compared to last week's sketch, this young lady is now completed and on her way to a special lady, from one of my fabulous customers.

It's taken me several weeks to complete her due to the numerous life events going on.  I'm hoping things will start settling down now so I can get back into the swing of wrapping up various customer orders as well as moving forward with other special projects coming down the pipeline.  Such as:

• Brand new website (New items & features!)
• My very first online workshop (Focus:  Building your Facebook for success!)

Sunday Sketches

Welcome to Sunday Sketches!  I've missed everyone and I'm terribly sorry I've not quite been in swing of things these past few weeks.  Between moving and (more than) drowning in my first week of exams, it was all I could do to keep myself together under the huge amount of stresses on my plate.  In fact, I remember pulling into the garage this past Thursday after classes and just breaking down in tears.  There was this incredible feeling of simply having enough and being ready for a reprieve from things.  Thankfully, that did happen on Friday night when Mmmm surprised me for Valentine's and took me out on the town to some of our favorite, cozy places - just the two of us.

Now late evening is rolling in and I find myself curled up on the love seat, cup of tea in hand, relaxing and taking in the sight of our new home together.  I look forward to sharing photos once we've fully settled in and decorated.

Until then, please enjoy my WIP of a lovely card I've been working on over the past few weeks.  I'm really looking forward to getting my studio set back up and diving back into my illustration work.  Lord knows I've got a pile of unfinished custom orders patiently waiting for me to complete.

OH - and please hang tight - I'll be announcing the SS Anniversary winner very soon!  :)

Just a quick HELLO to all of my wonderful peeps, wishing you the most fantastic Valentine's Day!  May each of your hearts be touched in a very special way today. Sunday Sketches - post-poned

Hello everyone!  I apologize but I've dropped the ball in preparing for this week's Sunday Sketches.  We've just moved and are exhausted and I've had such a horrible time getting the internet up and working in our new home.

Sunday Sketches 4-year Celebration

Welcome to another fabulous, fun, creative week here at Sunday Sketches.  I'm so glad you could join us for another round and - another new year!  I believe Sunday Sketches is celebrating 4 years!  Woot! Woot!  I would've never though we would still be up and running - I'm SO blessed! To celebrate this joyous occasion, I'm going to have a GIVEAWAY!  For every person who participates in this weeks Sunday Sketches, your name will be entered into a bucket and I'll draw one name to receive a special parcel of tea and goodies.  Uh huh.  Yummy!

This little kite girl is slowly coming to life, in between my already hectic academic schedule.  She's another special custom order in process.  I'm looking forward to completing this illustration and sending her off to her new home.

I'm back to the books tonight, studying for my first Biology exam (ack!) while we are in the middle of our third snow storm in the last two weeks!  Yipeee!  :D
