Creative Tuesdays

This is my little contribution for this round of Creative Tuesdays.  I love LOVE September and the three months following it.  In fact, it's my favorite time of the year!  For me, September is about being cozy, snuzzled up in sweatshirts, fuzzy scarves and hats - smelling the burning leaves, the fresh winter air and of course - PERFECT hot cuppas of PG Tips or Scottish Blend.  Ahhhhh!  :)

Sunday Sketches

WELCOME to another fun and creative week of Sunday Sketches!  It's so good to be back and let me say how much I've missed everyone!  I'm looking forward to catching up more with everyone, so  hang tight.  My college classes have resumed this past week, so I have to balance my classes/homework with my creative time but I'm still here and loving it!  Uh huh. I SO am!

Above is a custom order I'm currently working on.  I need to tweak the ears a little bit and add text/wording for the customer and then it's ready to paint!  :)

Back to classes!

I've barely created anything this week but have definitely started a little something and will share with you on Sunday where I'm currently at with this particular custom order.  :)

In the meantime, college classes have resumed and I'm already swamped after 4 days!  To top that off, I've not had a Starbucks since this past Sunday!!  Oh dear me!  I'm accepting Starbucks donations to get me through this semester.   hahahaha  :)

Sunday Sketches and a BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Hello and Happy Sunday Sketches....and HaPPy BiRtHDaY TO ME!  Uh huh.  I won't tell you just how young (or OLD!) I am, but how about a little celebration with me? I've baked a chocolate cake with pink frosting and have added a few sprinkles on top.  There's enough to go for everyone.  Oh, and let's not forget the perfect cup of tea!  I'll take Scottish Blend on this day. How about you?  :)

Monsters are everywhere! PPF

My little new monsters are peeping up everywhere, lately!  They're definitely glad to see me back from my trip to California.  Lots of exciting things there and will share them with you soon.

Until then, enjoy my monster gang and come back on Sunday to celebrate my BiRThDaY!  Uh huh. :)

Touching Base & Missed Sunday Sketches!

Hello my peeps!  I'm SO SORRY, I missed Sunday Sketches this past week.  I'm heading out from California tonight and back to Colorado by midnight.  Sunday Sketches will resume on August 18th - my birthday!! Yippee!!  :)

I've had a wonderful time in so many ways, especially getting to visit with my baby brother again!  :)  With that said, here are a few photos from my wonderful vacation!  :)

Well, it's been an emotional week so far - seeing my baby brother for the first time in 15+ years!  We've chatted, played guitar and music together, and even shed alot of tears.  Thank God for the opportunity to re-unite and have the healing we've needed.

Please continue to lift us up the rest of this week.  xx

Sunday Sketches

I'm posting my doodles early this week as by the time most of you read this, I'll be on my way to California for a week.  I'll be visiting my baby brother I've not seen in over 15+ years.  We both need a lot of healing together as brother and sister, as well as grieving our father's death 18 months ago.  Please keep us in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Fox on Paint Party Friday

HELLO and HAPPY FRIDAY!!  I'm officially now on holiday and preparing for a road trip to California to see my baby brother I've not seen in over 15 years.  I'm excited and very nervous.  It will be quite emotional and ALOT of healing is needed for both of us, especially him.  Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Above is fun, little illustration I'm working on for someone special.  It's so fitting for them, since she does love foxes.  :)

Monster LOVE on Campus

Christmas Matchbox Swap!

CHRISTMAS ADVENT MATCHBOX SWAP! If you're interested in doing this, please email me at bluechairdiary@yahoo.com.  This is NOT limited to US only.  Please join, whether you're in the UK, Australia, etc. 

Requirements:
1. Buy & decorate 25 matchboxes.
2. Fill each matchbox with a tiny trinket. (magnet, buttons, tiny ornament, etc)
3. Mail to me w/$5 for shipping. (Deadline is Nov. 1st)
 
Once I receive all 25 ladies pkgs (or men!), I'll mix them up and ship back out to everyone in time for December!  Happy (early) Christmas!
