I'm still struggling to make do for the time being with not having a workspace. As mentioned last week, my old workstation just wouldn't fit in my room at the new place, so quite frustrating. Almost every day I'm digging through the mess above to find something. Grrr
Any suggestions for the interim period? :)
Other than this "minor" issue, I'm still plugging along on misc art projects as well as college classes. In fact, my first exam grade - 92%! :)

I know how frustrating it is to move from a large space to a smaller. My poor closets are FILLED with stamping stuff but, after 5 years, I'm fairly organized as hubby put up LOTS of shelves. Hope your Halloween Party blog hop goes great!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

Small space, perhaps the best you can do is box everything up in like groups, label and stack! At least you will know which box to go to. Sandi (114)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can get a crafty area sorted soon. Hugs Sally #125
ReplyDeleteAny kind of organizer with lots of cubbies will help in the interim. Very good score, congrats! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh at #99
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I've moved my art supplies back out into my garage studio but I still have to organise them. I do like Sandi's idea. Good luck ~ :)
ReplyDeletedo you have Ikea nearby! There's always kijiji or craigslist!
ReplyDelete92%. - how brilliant are you! well done. Well now, I can't help with the downsizing frustration at not being unpacked yet...but I can say...it won't last forever. Omg...do I sound like you mother!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi could you get some sort of storage that would stack but with front loading drawers - make 2 columns of them & place a work surface (aka piece of wood !) on top - sort of a 2 in 1 desk thingie ? Good luck getting sorted out ! Ali #47
ReplyDelete92% Yepeeee! I love your turtle! I am sorry, I don't have any suggestions. I do hope everything gets settled for you soon!
ReplyDeleteWhen I go on vacation, I can make do with a box of art supplies, making art on the couch! Congratulations on your grade! Patsy from

Wow - 92% - who is a very clever girl then? That is a fantastic result. I do like Ali's suggestion above, I have something similar with two sets of metal drawers each about 3 ft high with a piece of wood across the top. It is my second workstation where I keep my BigShot etc. A small bookcase might work or failing all else perhaps use the kitchen table.....hope you get it resolved soon. Thanks for your visit earlier too. Anne x #13
ReplyDelete#Why don't you spread out over the floor and try painting from a different angle?! Ha! Probably not such a good idea if you are already stuck for space!! You shouldn't ask me for ideas as they are liable to be a bit strange!!
ReplyDeleteWell done! As for the ideas with regards having no workstation....hmmm work in a miniminalistic way maybe, I am retired to my sofa at the moment and just work on a tray resting on it are a skechbook, graphite B4 and one red color pencil. I guess that won't help much :)

hello lovely lady
ReplyDeleteI would and do just find a place to sit and do art and dig through the box of supplies for what i need. I like Manon do almost all my art on my couch. Some day i hope to have a work space ;-)
Congratulation on the 92%!!! I love the funny turtle in the midst. It looks like the turtle is the only one having an overview. So you should follow the wise turtle's wisdom and action very slowly ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Alexandra!! I am sorry I am soooooooo late!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could help you with your dilemma, but I can't offer any advice. If I was moving my studio, I would go mad!! I need everything!! I guess you need to dig for the things you know you will use most often?
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!! See you Wednesday!! LOL!!
