Sunday Sketches and Recovering

Good morning.  Posting these lovely painted TOMS I did shortly before I became very ill.  These were for a friend's daughter's birthday.

Nothing else at this point and time for art as I'm still in the process of recovering, watching my diet right now and desperately trying to catch up from missing classes last week.

Hope you have a wonderful day!  :)

Sunday Sketches postponed - illness

Good morning.  This is a quick note from Alexandra's friend to let you know that Sunday Sketches has been postponed this week.  Alexandra has been extremely ill and was at the hospital a few days ago with abdomen pain, vomiting, headache, body pain, etc.

A CT scan was conducted on her liver and 2nd tumor and all appears stable at the moment.

She's home, resting but still unable to really eat solid foods and has a follow up appointment this week.  Updates are posted on her FB page, should you want to keep up with her status over the next few days.

Thanks!

TOMS project

I'm working on a special, secret project that I plan to unveil soon.  It's been quite exciting and I've not done this sort of thing in years and was delighted to have the opportunity to bless a young girl across the way.

Can anyone guess what I'm doing?  :)

Sunday Sketches

HELLO and WELCOME to another week of Sunday Sketches.  I'm going crazy at how fast each week continues to zoom by, but have to admit I've never been happier.  It's been quite fulfilling creating art while studying to become a lawyer.  I feel utterly blessed and thankful for the opportunity at this point and time in my life.

This is Mr. Koala as well as other cuties from the current project I'm working on.  I'm happy to say the teacher all of these pretties are being sent to is quite pleased. Yeah! :)

Under the Sea and WOYWW

Good morning!  I'm desperately trying to stay in touch with all of my lovely peeps here in the blog world.  Please do forgive me.  I miss everyone and hope that things will level out in a few weeks.

Above is a peak at my (current) workspace AND one of the 300+ clip-art I'm creating for a school teacher several states away.  It's my version of a mermaid - "Under the Sea", like I am with my schoolwork right now.  hahaha  :)  Can you see that my new workspace is bigger and messier than my old one?!  But I'm so loving it.  Uh huh.  :)

Have a wonderful WOYWW day!  :)

Royalty and Sunday Sketches

HELLO and welcome to another wonderful week of Sunday Sketches!  :)  I'm so happy to have you all join me and am blessed that you're still here, even after my semi disappearance from all of my college studies as of late.  Yeah!! :)

Above is some more sneak peeks of the special project I'm working on.  I'm really enjoying it and loving the challenge each and every day.

Now, off to visit everyone else.  I'm looking forward to the creativity and inspiration! :)

Teacher's Pet and PPF

Isn't it funny how certain phrases like "teacher's pet" take our attention directly to school?  Do you remember that phrase from when you were a child?  I do and no, I never had the opportunity to wear the title, so to speak. lol   Anyway, I wanted to provide a sneak peek on some of the artwork I'm creating for this huge teacher's project.  By the time it's completed, I will have created over 300 images! Whoa.

Anyway, I do hope you'll excuse my major absence out here in the blog world as I've been working hard on this project in between my classes and homework M-Th.  I most certainly miss everyone and hope to get back to a regular appearance soon.

With that said, happy PPF!  (a little early as I have to get back to my project deadline!)  :)

Sunday Sketches

Good morning and WELCOME to another week of sketching.  My true apologies for getting this up late.  Wow, I cannot tell you how much I'm struggling with keeping a balance with my art and college classes right now.  I am doing alot of art, however, it's for a special project but, per contract agreement, I'm unable to share any images until it's completed.  So, above is a piece of my own that I did manage to start this past week but I fear all of the smaller projects are on the back burner until this one is out the door!

On another note, the exam I mentioned last week?  I got a 98%!  Yeah!  :)

I do hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to visiting peeps today.  I missed you all last week.  Please do excuse me while I find my balance of things.

Hugs to you all!! :)
