Sunday Sketches

Photo sadly lost...

Good morning and welcome to Sunday Sketches!

My father continues to recover and was recently moved from the hospital to a nursing home for rehabilitation/daily radiation treatments. Please, please continue to lift him up in your thoughts and prayers. I haven't been able to talk with him much the past day or so and it makes me sad. :(

Sigh...deep breath....OK....Posted above are my two latest (very raw) sketches, hence the smudges and erase marks. What do you think? Right now, I'm working on a watercolour of Tea Time and look forward to sharing it with you.

Happy SS my wonderful friends!

  1. Hello my dear friend. Don't you just love tea and the rituals that go along with it! I love both of these sketches and have been inspired by you this week to start a flower directory, just everyday doodling that is turning out to be so relaxing!

Glad to hear your dad is on the mend...Sending you supportive hugs.

I love all your cute little owls too! Really fun to see what one can come up with when you just sketch for fun!

I love these raw sketches and seeing why tea is so special for you! Personally I start the day with strong dark black coffee then switch to herbal tea when I get to the office. Right now I am loving Morroccan Mint!

  9. Sophia one day you should come to London and enjoy afternoon tea at The Ritz (you won't need to eat for about two days afterwards!). The setting, the blends, the service and the divine spread will last in your memory a lifetime!

Can't wait to see the finished piece. Will you save me a cake?
